Senior Wealth Advisor - MENAT

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Senior Wealth Advisor for the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey (MENAT) in Geneva to work with ultra-high-net-worth individuals to meet their complex, long-term needs. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication and organizational skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and in-depth knowledge of private law and tax law.

Job Description

The Wealth Advisor will work with our MENAT (Middle East, North Africa, Turkey) team in Geneva to meet the complex, long-term needs of our clients in collaboration with our bankers, investors, lending advisors, and Global Wealth Advisors teams. We are seeking a talented candidate with excellent communication and organizational skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and strong knowledge and/or experience in private law and tax law, enabling them to operate with complete autonomy in front of our clients and their advisors. The required technical skills include expert knowledge of how UHNW individuals hold, protect, structure, and transfer their wealth based on their goals. This includes strategies for wealth succession and business succession, preparation for liquidity events, family strategy, and more.

Tasks

The tasks include:
  • Work as part of a team with advisors to achieve regional business goals and the goals of the Wealth Advisory team in EMEA.
  • Specific initiatives and regular updates in the MENAT region (e.g., intermediary outreach, family offices, family governance, philanthropy, next-generation initiatives, and events)
  • Collaborating with bankers, investors, and lending advisors to provide top-notch services to our clients and prospective clients
  • Proactively informing the team about strategic initiatives, industry trends, and regulatory changes that affect the wealth management landscape
  • Promoting a collaborative and inclusive environment that supports growth and development
  • Work as a team member with the EMEA Wealth Advisory Team and with all JPMorgan Wealth Advisory Teams worldwide

Requirements

The requirements include:
  • A proven track record of working with UHNW clients
  • Recognized thought leader/expert with solid knowledge and experience in the fields of private law and tax law
  • Lawyers with experience in matters involving private clients are also welcome
  • Commercial mindset and ability to focus on clearly defined metrics
  • A genuine interest in developments in the areas of succession planning, family governance, family office and philanthropy strategies, as well as financial matters
  • Ability to work in a diverse, multicultural environment
  • Strong relationship orientation and self-starter with business development knowledge
  • Proven customer management skills, coupled with the necessary gravitas to quickly gain customers’ trust and confidence
  • Well-developed communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Internal team orientation with the ability to work across the entire company and across jurisdictions as needed
  • Fluent English, Arabic is a plus
