About the job

We are looking for an experienced Senior Web Developer (frontend focus) to join our strategy initiative. This role focuses on the design and development of modern, highly interactive web applications that support our business.

Tasks

• Frontend development: Design and development of modern web applications, mainly with Angular
• Code quality & best practices: Ensuring high-quality, maintainable code with best practices in architecture, design and development
• Testing and automation: Implementation and maintenance of front-end unit tests and end-to-end tests (E2E) to ensure the reliability of the application
• Cross-collaboration: working with backend developers, UX/UI designers, product managers and other stakeholders to translate requirements into fully functional features
• Performance optimization: Optimization of applications for speed, scalability and cross-browser compatibility
• Technology exploration: Stay up to date with new web technologies (frameworks/libraries) and contribute to new project decisions
• Stakeholder communication: Clear communication of technical concepts and project updates to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Mentorship & Leadership: Mentoring junior developers, conducting code reviews and helping to maintain a high-performance engineering culture

Requirements

Required skills

• Proficiency in Angular (experience with React or Vue.js is a plus)
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of web standards and techniques
• Experience with front-end testing frameworks, including Jest, Playwright and Cypress
• Proficient in version control with Git
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders

Education & Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of full-time web development experience, with a focus on front-end development
• Successful experience in front-end architecture and design from scratch
• Experience in responsive design and web performance optimization
• Contribution to open source projects is a plus
