Your role

As a Senior Windows System Engineer at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, you will be part of the Windows System Engineering team that provides Windows and Citrix-based infrastructure services for our bank and provides support for operations and projects. You are interested in improving our setup according to industry best practices and are willing to take responsibility in an international context.

Your tasks

• Daily operational tasks required to provide a stable and robust environment, including monitoring, proactive maintenance and problem resolution
• Support for infrastructure-related projects in an international context
• Designing solutions and working as a technical expert, including covering safety aspects
• Implementation of infrastructure-related projects and services in the Windows area (Active Directory, MSSQL, MS Cluster etc.)
• Support as a member of the on-call organization

Your profile

• University degree (University / FH) in computer science
• Professional qualification as an IT specialist
• 3 years of practical experience in Microsoft server-based enterprise environments
• MCSE certification is a plus
• Successful experience with ITIL methodology v3
• Knowledge of Exchange, AD, Windows, Citrix and SQL Server is required
• Customer-oriented, open-minded and able to act as part of our team
• Ability to weigh up problems, set priorities and work with different interest groups
• Willingness to take responsibility and work under pressure
• Fluency in English; fluency in German is a plus
