Service Center IT Coordinator

Job description

Your exciting task:

  • 1st level IT support and IT consulting for internal customers at our national and international locations in German and English
  • Receiving, processing, finding and applying solutions or forwarding IT concerns, IT fault reports by telephone, ticket system (Jira) and e-mail
  • Consistent recording and categorization of incoming requests via ticket system (Jira)
  • Interdisciplinary cooperation with downstream 2nd and 3rd level support units
  • Collaboration in internal and cross-departmental projects and IT initiatives
  • Creation and maintenance of know-how contributions in the area of 1st level support

What you bring with you:

  • Completed vocational training, preferably as a computer scientist or comparable training or sound IT knowledge and practical experience in the IT sector, even without formal training
  • Initial experience in an IT environment as a 1st level supporter (service desk/help desk or similar function)
  • Very good knowledge of standard applications such as Windows 11, Microsoft 365 palette incl. MS Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint
  • Very good knowledge of hardware such as PC, monitors, printers, iPhone, iPad, Android, etc.
  • Above-average oral and written communication skills in German (mother tongue or C1/C2 level) and fluent English
  • Quick comprehension, analytical and networked thinking skills
  • High sense of service and responsibility
  • High level of commitment, initiative, flexibility and empathy
  • Careful way of working with a high customer and service orientation
