ServiceNow Engineer (a)

As a ServiceNow Engineer, you will be responsible for the operation, further development, and support of the on-premises platform as part of an agile team in Bern or while working remotely. You have several years of experience as an administrator and developer, possess in-depth knowledge of JavaScript, and will assist with integrations, automations, and cloud migration.

Tasks

  • You define and implement user stories based on business requirements and projects
  • You'll create workflows and integrations and work closely with both internal subject-matter expert teams and customers
  • You will ensure the secure and reliable operation of the ServiceNow on-premises platform and perform upgrades, clones, and enhancements
  • You will provide 2nd- and 3rd-level support to our ServiceNow users
  • You'll work closely with our implementation partners on larger projects

Requirements

  • You have several years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow administrator and developer. Ideally, you hold a CSA certification or other ServiceNow certifications and have a solid background in IT infrastructure.
  • You are familiar with ITSM, CHDB/CMDB, ITDM/Discovery, integrations (RST, LDAP, SSD, MID_Server), and automation using Flow Designer and workflows
  • You have a solid understanding of JavaScript; knowledge of Bash, PowerShell, and SQL is a plus.
  • Ideally, you have already supported a migration from ServiceNow On-Premise to the cloud (SaaS/Kask) and have gained some initial experience with Ansible, Terraform, or Microsoft Azure. Knowledge of MariaDB is a plus.
  • You are customer-focused, work independently and responsibly, are a team player, and enjoy acquiring new knowledge that you apply in a targeted manner
