ServiceNow Engineer

The company is looking for a ServiceNow Engineer to ensure the secure and reliable operation of the platform and applications and to oversee their ongoing development. The ideal candidate has several years of experience as a ServiceNow administrator and developer and possesses in-depth knowledge of ITSM, CSM/CSDM, ITOM/Discovery, and JavaScript.

Tasks

As a ServiceNow Specialist, you’ll share responsibility for the secure and reliable operation and continuous development of the platform and applications. Within our on-premises infrastructure, you’ll also have the opportunity to apply your expertise in databases and Linux. You can expect a diverse and dynamic work environment. As a ServiceNow expert, you’ll work in a small, agile team of specialists. You’ll analyze requirements and problems, help develop solutions, and implement them as part of the team.
  • You define and implement user stories based on existing requirements and projects
  • You'll create workflows and integrations and work closely with both our internal subject-matter expert teams and our customers
  • You will ensure the secure and reliable operation of the ServiceNow on-premises platform and carry out upgrades, clones, and enhancements
  • You will provide 2nd- and 3rd-level support to our ServiceNow users
  • You'll work closely with our implementation partners on large projects

Requirements

  • You have several years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow administrator and developer; ideally, you hold a CSM certification or other ServiceNow certifications and have a solid background in computer science.
  • You are familiar with ITSM, CSM/CSDM, ITOM/Discovery, integration (REST), LDAP, SCSM, MID Server, and low-code automation using Flow Designer and Workflow.
  • You have a solid knowledge of JavaScript; knowledge of Bash, PowerShell, and SQL is a plus
  • Ideally, you have already successfully completed a migration from ServiceNow On-Premise to the cloud (SaaS), or you can gain initial experience with Azure, TensorFlow, or Microsoft Azure. Knowledge of machine learning (DL) is a plus.
  • You are customer-focused, work independently and responsibly, are a team player, and enjoy acquiring new knowledge that you apply in a targeted manner
