ServiceNow Engineer

The company is seeking a ServiceNow Engineer (80–100%) for its Bern-Liebefeld office, with the option to work from home, to ensure the secure and reliable operation and continuous development of the platform and applications. The ideal candidate has several years of experience as a ServiceNow administrator or developer and possesses in-depth IT knowledge.

Tasks

As a ServiceNow Engineer, you’ll share responsibility for the secure and reliable operation and continuous development of the platform and applications. In our on-premises environment, you’ll also have the opportunity to apply your expertise with databases and Linux. You can expect a diverse and dynamic work environment. As a ServiceNow Engineer, you’ll work in a small, agile team of specialists. You’ll analyze requirements and problems, work on finding solutions, and implement them as part of the team. You’ll be responsible for:
  • Defining and implementing stories based on company-specific requirements and projects
  • Creating workflows and integrations, and working closely with both web professionals and clients
  • Ensure the secure and reliable operation of the ServiceNow on-premises platform and perform upgrades, closures, and enhancements
  • Supporting our ServiceNow users with 2nd- and 3rd-level support
  • Work closely with our implementation partners on larger projects

Requirements

You have:
  • Several years of practical experience as a ServiceNow administrator or developer
  • Ideally, CISSP certification or a solid background in IT
  • Knowledge of ITIL, CSM, CISM, ITOM/Discovery, integrations (REST), LAMP, LMAP, MID Server, and automation tools such as Flow Designer and Workflow
  • Solid knowledge of Java and JavaScript; knowledge of Bash, PowerShell, and SQL is a plus
  • Ideally, you have already successfully completed a migration from ServiceNow to the cloud and gained initial experience with Absorb, Tata, or Microsoft Azure; knowledge of Manila/DB is a plus
  • Customer-focused, independent, and responsible work style; a team player who enjoys exploring new areas of knowledge

Your compensation includes:
  • Equal pay for equal work, regardless of gender
