ServiceNow Junior Developer 100% (f/m/d)

Tasks

As a ServiceNow Junior Developer, you will primarily work on developing ITSM solutions for our Business-as-Usual stream. Your responsibilities will include:

• System Integrations: Collaboration on integrating ServiceNow with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or integration hubs
• Performance and stability: Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, troubleshooting, and applying best practices for scalability and usability
• Security and Compliance: Ensuring that all developments comply with strict security protocols, access controls, and audit requirements in accordance with financial industry standards
• Work closely with other developers, process owners, and IT stakeholders to gain insights into technical architecture and business operations in a globally regulated environment

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

• A solid foundation in JavaScript and object-oriented programming; familiarity with the Glide API, server-side scripting (e.g., business rules, script includes), and client-side scripts on the ServiceNow platform
• Basic understanding of ITIL frameworks (incident, problem, change management) and their implementation in enterprise systems
• Familiarity with web technologies, JSON/XML, and integration patterns (REST/SOAP)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills – you enjoy digging through log files, debugging issues, and identifying root causes
• A collaborative spirit with strong communication skills; you feel comfortable asking questions, providing updates, and working in agile teams
• Willingness to take on responsibility, follow coding standards, and continuously improve your skills
• Fluency in spoken and written English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus in our international environment
• Certifications such as ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Associate Developer are advantageous but not mandatory.
