Tasks

• Development of ITSM solutions to support the business-as-usual workflow
• System Integrations: Collaboration on integrating ServiceNow with external systems, APIs, middleware, or integration hubs
• Performance & Stability: Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks; applying best practices for scalability and user-friendliness
• Security & Compliance: Ensuring that all developments comply with strict security protocols and audit requirements in accordance with financial industry standards
• Close collaboration with other developers, process managers, and IT stakeholders, both in terms of technical architecture and business processes, within a globally regulated environment

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in ServiceNow configuration and scripting
• A solid foundation in ITIL, GlideAPI, JSON/XML, REST/SOAP, business rules, and the ServiceNow platform
• Basic understanding of ITIL frameworks (Incident, Problem, and Change Management) and their implementation in enterprise systems
• Familiarity with web technologies, JSON/XML, and integration patterns (REST/SOAP), as well as client-side and server-side scripts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; enjoys digging deep into logs to identify root causes
• A collaborative mindset with strong communication skills; comfort asking questions, understanding technical landscapes, sharing updates, and working in agile teams
• Willingness to take on responsibility, adhere to coding standards, and continuously improve one's craft in a dynamic, international environment
• Certifications such as ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Associate Developer are a plus, but not required
• Fluency in spoken and written English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
• Availability for a hybrid work model in Madrid (three days a week)
