ServiceNow Junior Developer

Tasks

• System integration: Collaboration on the integration of ServiceNow with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or integration hubs
• Performance and stability: Identification and resolution of performance bottlenecks, troubleshooting, and application of best practices for scalability and usability
• Security and compliance: Ensuring that all developments comply with strict security protocols, access controls, and audit requirements that meet financial industry standards
• Work closely with other developers, process owners, and IT stakeholders to gain insights into technical architecture and business operations in a globally regulated environment

Requirements

• Solid foundation in JavaScript and object-oriented programming; familiarity with Glide API, server-side scripting (e.g., business rules, script includes), and client scripts on the ServiceNow platform
• Basic understanding of ITIL frameworks (incident, problem, change management) and their implementation in enterprise systems
• Familiarity with web technologies, JSON/XML, and integration patterns (REST/SOAP)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills – you enjoy digging through logs, debugging problems, and finding root causes
• Collaborative spirit with good communication skills; comfortable asking questions, providing updates, and working in agile teams
• Willingness to take ownership, follow coding standards, and continuously improve your craft
• Fluent spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage in our international environment
• Certifications such as ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Associate Developer are advantageous but not mandatory.
