ServiceNow RBM Developer

Job Summary

• We are looking for a highly skilled ServiceNow Engineer with deep expertise in ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) to join our team.
• The successful candidate must have technical expertise in risk management, governance, and auditing, backed by proven enterprise-scale IRM solutions that align with business objectives, industry regulations, and Northern Trust Bank's internal guidelines.
• The ideal candidate will bring a proactive mindset, experience with agile work, and proven risk, governance, and compliance processes.
• The individual will also develop scalable solutions, provide risk management services, and maintain a compliance environment for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

ServiceNow RBM Development & Solution Delivery

• Design, develop, configure, and implement advanced solutions for the ServiceNow IRM platform, including Risk and Compliance Management, Security Risk Management, Audit Management, and Compliance Management.
• Leverage technical and engineering best practices to create scalable and maintainable ServiceNow solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, infrastructure operators, and those involved in planning and implementation to ensure the feasibility and successful optimization of the solution.
• Configure and customize core application functionalities: workflows, business rules, ACLs, and UI policies.
• Design, build, and maintain custom permissions to support reporting, risk, compliance, and audit capabilities.

Technical Leadership

• Leverage deep expertise and process experience in every aspect of project delivery.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with ServiceNow development standards, platform capabilities, and best practices.
• Ensure technical governance, solution quality, performance optimization, and platform stability.
• Ensure technical documentation, end-user training support, and platform stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and on-time completion.
• Investigate and resolve production issues, defects, and performance bottlenecks related to ServiceNow IRM or other components.
• Stay up to date on the latest ServiceNow platform versions, emerging updates, and industry best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation, diversification, and platform optimization.
• Expert in platform upgrades, enhancements, and transformation initiatives.

Team Development & Mentoring

• Mentor and guide engineers at various experience levels and across various technical disciplines.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning, engineering excellence, and leadership development.
• Mentor scalability initiatives and help build exceptional quality in ServiceNow IRM capabilities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, information systems, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will be considered.
• 3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow design, development, and implementation.
• Extensive expertise in development services using ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM), including identity and design.

• Proficient Performance Skills: Design and execute tests, identify vulnerabilities, and ensure platform resilience
• Strong understanding of cloud frameworks, scene control, identity applications, and automated testing solutions
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to develop effective strategies with technical and business stakeholders

Required Certifications
