Settlement Officer

Tasks

- Responsible for: processing global securities, our own and our partners' issues, cash pre-matching, sales fees, maintaining static data, and/or business expansion. - Communicating with various internal and external stakeholders. - Handling daily inquiries and resolving BAU issues. Investigating more complex issues and escalating them to the team if no solution can be found. - Ensuring that important checks are performed daily. - Notifying a senior member/IT/DEV of any system errors, especially after each sprint release. - Working and communicating effectively within a global team. Team player attitude; collaborating with team members and other teams. - Follow defined processes without exceptions, unless approved by the team leader. - Moderate knowledge of daily systems and understanding of how our actions affect other teams. - Help improve and expand operational processes by sharing ideas and constructive criticism.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in global securities markets.
  • Operational experience (preferably in processing) is a distinct advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A pragmatic approach to work and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work within time-bound goals.
  • Good spoken and written English skills.
