Safety Officer (m|f|d)

Tasks

• Work in collaboration with the field sales and internal sales teams, and in coordination with Customer Service, particularly regarding online channels (e.g., online banking) and mobile banking
• Carrying out the necessary preliminary work as part of the product development process (quality planning, product concept)
• Support for the project management of security-related projects, particularly digital products
• Close collaboration with IT security management (integrating security requirements from the IT and business areas)
• Tendering and Monitoring of Safety-Related Measures
• Clarifying interfaces in the implementation of security measures (technical, organizational, administrative): e.g., the application, monitoring, and optimization of the IT security policy
• Further development and optimization of existing processes within the framework of the internal control system, e.g., information and process flows for risk management
• Physical security (e.g., fire protection, access control)
• Planning, Implementation, and Documentation Management of the External Security Dialogue
• Safety-related acceptance testing of new and ongoing development projects across all locations (including our branch offices)
• Establishment of role-based information in accordance with the concept of the second line of defense
• Updating the content of the guidelines in accordance with our compliance policy
• Ensuring a high level of security awareness
• Participation in topic-specific work groups and committees within the DZ BANK Group

Requirements

• A completed, job-specific college or university degree or a completed, job-specific vocational training program
• A process-oriented mindset and the ability to understand complex issues, including their security and political implications
• Professionalism, teamwork, dedication, a focus on results, and problem-solving skills—even in the face of conflict
• Strong knowledge of information security management (ideally ISO/IEC 27001)
• Strong communication skills, particularly when interacting with stakeholders from different fields
• A confident demeanor and the ability to maintain consistent coordination with employer and employee organizations within the framework of current legislation
