SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Position description

As a Software Engineer, you will have the unique and exciting opportunity to join a young and dynamic company dedicated to delivering value-added services in the field of investment products. You will be part of the development team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining key business applications and services for our clients and the trading and corporate development team.

Tasks

* Full-stack software development with a strong focus on maximizing business value * Close collaboration with business analysts and business partners to gather requirements * Participation in regular Scrum activities * Proactive participation in team-organized efforts to improve the technical platform * Unit testing and collaboration with the quality assurance team for regression testing * Collaboration with the business support team to ensure the stability of productive systems

Requirements

* Business fluency in English * Ability and flexibility to change contexts * Strong professional experience in Scala and functional software development in general * Strong problem-solving skills * Experience with relational databases * Experience with API design * Experience with microservice architectures * Familiarity with agile methods

Nice to Have

* Knowledge of Akka / Cats / Scal / Kafka / Docker / Kubernetes / Jenkins * Professional experience in the financial industry * Familiarity with CQRS and event sourcing
