Position description

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER in Lisbon, working full-time in the Information Technology department.

About the role

As a software developer, you have a unique and exciting opportunity to join a young and dynamic company focused on providing value-added services in the field of investment products. You will be part of the IT development department and will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of key business applications and services for our client-facing pricing and trading platform, "Constructor."

What you will do

• End-to-end software development with a strong focus on maximizing business value
• Close collaboration with business analysts and business partners to gather requirements
• Participation in regular Scrum activities
• Proactive participation in team-led efforts to improve the technical platform
• Unit testing and collaboration with the quality assurance team on regression testing
• Collaborate with the Business Support Team to ensure the stability of the production systems

What you need

• Business fluidity in English
• Capacity and flexibility for context switching
• Strong professional experience in Scala and functional software development in general
• Strong problem solving skills
• Experience with relational database systems
• Experience with API design
• Experience with microservice architectures
• Familiarity with agile methods

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Akka / Cats / Slick / Kafka / Docker / Kubernetes / Jenkins
• Professional experience in the financial industry
• Familiarity with CQRs and event sourcing
