SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Position description

As a software developer, you have the unique and exciting opportunity to join a young and dynamic company dedicated to delivering value-added services in the field of investment products.

Tasks

You will be part of the development team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining key business applications and services for our customer and trade control framework. You will:

• Perform complete software development with a strong focus on maximizing business value
• Work closely with business analysts and business partners to gather requirements
• Participate regularly in Scrum activities
• Proactive participation in team-organized efforts for technical platform improvements
• Perform unit tests and collaborate with the quality assurance team for regression testing
• Work with the business support team to ensure the stability of productive systems.

Requirements

You will need:

• Business fluent English language skills
• Capacity and flexibility for context switching
• Strong professional experience in Scala and functional software development in general
• Strong problem solving skills
• Experience with relational database systems
• Experience with API design
• Experience with microservice architectures
• Familiarity with agile methods

Nice to Have

It would be great if you could:

• Knowledge of Akka / Cats / Scal / Kafka / Docker / Kubernetes / Jenkins
• Have professional experience in the financial industry
• Be familiar with CQSRS and event sourcing
