SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

About the role

As a software developer, you have a unique and exciting opportunity to join a young and dynamic company dedicated to delivering value-added services in the investment products space. You will be part of the IT development department, which is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining key business applications and services for our client-facing pricing and trading constructor platform.

Tasks

* Full software development with a strong focus on maximizing business value * Close collaboration with business analysts and business partners to gather requirements * Participation in regular Scrum activities * Proactive participation in team-organized efforts for technical platform improvements * Unit testing and collaboration with the quality assurance team for regression testing * Collaboration with the business support team to ensure the stability of productive systems

Requirements

* Business fluency in English * Ability and flexibility to change contexts * Strong professional experience in Scala and functional software development in general * Strong problem-solving skills * Experience with relational database systems * Experience with API design * Experience with microservice architectures * Familiarity with agile methods

Nice to Have

* Knowledge of Akka / Cats / Slick / Kafka / Docker / Kubernetes / Jenkins * Professional experience in the financial industry * Familiarity with CQRs and event sourcing
