Job description

Tasks

• Support multiple Agile release trains (ARTs) and product teams in onboarding to our internal DevOps platform and curated Azure services.
• Drive the re-platforming/migration of applications to cloud infrastructure while ensuring compliance with corporate standards, compliance controls, and security-oriented design principles.
• Driving the migration of CI/CD pipelines from Bitbucket/Jenkins to GitLab, ensuring alignment with platform standards and compliance requirements
• Close collaboration with development teams, education and empowerment in DevOps practices, CI/CD automation, and cloud-native development
• Contribute to improving the developer experience by creating templates, documentation, and training materials that simplify platform adoption.

Requirements

• Software engineer with solid practical experience (5+ years) in application development (Java, .NET, Python, or similar)
• Practical experience in setting up and operating CI/CD pipelines and migrating between toolchains (Bitbucket/Jenkins → GitLab)
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles, Git workflows, and modern delivery practices
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure services and infrastructure as code
• Experience with containerized workload provisioning and orchestration (Nexus, Helm, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience working in air-gapped or restricted enterprise environments where all external dependencies must be consumed from internal registries
• Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are a strong advantage.
• Fluency in English (written/spoken), knowledge of German is an advantage
• Excellent communication and coaching skills – ability to simplify complex issues and lead teams through change
• Proactive, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Experience working in agile environments (SAFe or similar) and collaborating across multiple teams
