SOFTWARE ENGINEER 100% (f/m/d)
Julius Baer is seeking a Software Engineer (m/f/d) with at least 5 years of experience in software development to develop and maintain scalable applications using .NET and React. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of .NET Core, React, SQL databases, and software architecture principles.
Tasks and responsibilities
The position of Software Engineer involves the following responsibilities:- Development, Testing, and Maintenance of Scalable Applications Using .NET and React
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Participating in architectural discussions and contributing to technical design decisions
- Development and optimization of database solutions to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability
- Development and maintenance of RESTful APIs and backend services
- Supporting CI/CD processes and contributing to DevOps best practices
- Troubleshooting and resolving production issues to ensure application stability and performance
- Conducting Code Reviews
- Continuous improvement of software quality through testing, automation, and engineering best practices
Your profile
The following requirements apply to this position:- 5+ years of professional experience in software development
- Extensive hands-on experience with .NET Core / .NET technologies and C#
- Solid understanding of React and modern front-end development practices
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases, including database design, query optimization, indexing, and performance optimization
- A solid understanding of software architecture principles and application design
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures
- Experience in designing and using REST APIs
- Experience with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent English
Nice to Have
The following skills are advantageous:- Experience with NoSQL technologies such as Elasticsearch
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with monitoring and observation tools
