SOFTWARE ENGINEER 100% (f/m/d)
Julius Baer is seeking a Software Engineer (m/f/d) with at least 5 years of experience in software development to develop and maintain scalable applications using .NET and React. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of SQL, software architecture principles, and object-oriented programming.
Tasks and responsibilities
The position of Software Engineer involves the following responsibilities:- Development, Testing, and Maintenance of Scalable Applications Using .NET and React
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Participating in architectural discussions and contributing to technical design decisions
- Development and optimization of database solutions to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability
- Development and Maintenance of RESTful APIs and Backend Services
- Supporting CI/CD processes and contributing to DevOps best practices
- Resolving production issues and ensuring application stability and performance
- Conducting Code Reviews
- Continuous improvement of software quality through testing, automation, and engineering best practices
Your profile
The following requirements apply to this position:- 5+ years of professional experience in software development
- Extensive hands-on experience with .NET Core / .NET technologies and C#
- Solid experience with React and modern front-end development practices
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases, including database design, query optimization, indexing, and performance optimization
- A solid understanding of software architecture principles and application design
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures
- Experience in designing and using REST APIs
- Experience with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent in English
Nice to Have
The following skills are advantageous:- Experience with NoSQL technologies such as Elasticsearch
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with monitoring and observation tools
