Software Engineer, AVP

You will lead the way as we transform and shape the art of engineering within the bank, owning the end-to-end delivery of highly technical solutions through to production.

Tasks

In your new role, you will develop and mobilize innovations, customer-focused high-performance, secure, and robust digital platforms and tools that are often complex, as well as collaborate with other engineers, architects, and business analysts to ensure that the platform meets business requirements. You will also:

• Produce complex and critical software quickly and with high quality that adds value to the business
• Be responsible for the entire software lifecycle, from the initial idea to maintenance and improvement, right through to replacement or decommissioning.
• Working together to optimize our software engineering capabilities
• Working across the entire life cycle, from requirements analysis and design to coding, testing, deployment, and operation

Requirements

You will need:

• 6+ years of experience in software development
• Experience with development and testing tools, bug tracking tools, and issues
• Expertise in Java and microservices
• Experience with DevOps, testing, and agile methods or related tools
• Experience in implementing program best practices, particularly with regard to scalability, automation, visualization, optimization, availability, and performance
