Software Engineer, AVP
As a Software Engineer at NatWest Digital X in Chennai, India, you will have the opportunity to enhance your technical skills and contribute to the digital transformation of the company. Tasks
In your new role, you will develop and mobilize innovations, customer-focused high-performance and secure digital products, and technical standards that will be used both within the bank and externally. You will also:- Produce complex and critical software quickly and with high quality, offering real added value for the business.
- Supporting the software development lifecycle, from creation and maintenance to decommissioning
- Working together to optimize our software development capabilities
- Working across the entire life cycle, from requirements analysis and design to coding, testing, deployment, and operation
Requirements
You will need:- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Experience with development and testing tools, bug tracking tools, and IDEs
- Expertise in Java and microservices
- Experience with DevOps, testing, and agile methods and the associated tools/technologies
- Experience in coding high-quality, scalable, robust code
- Experience in implementing best practices, particularly in the areas of stability, automation, visualization, optimization, availability, and performance
