Job description
Tasks
- Development of new functionalities and improvement of the scalability of the technology platform operated by Man Group
- Working on solutions in areas such as order management, trade execution, risk management, and more
- Collaboration with stakeholders, business and investment teams, and technology and operations teams
- Participation in training courses, mentorship by senior managers, and development of a deep understanding of the business
Requirements
- Good knowledge of C#/.NET languages
- Experience with .NET or .NET-related technologies
- Degree or current studies in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related field
- Experience with operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux, or MacOS) and understanding of cloud technologies
- Knowledge of source control and continuous development workflows with tools such as Git
- Self-organizing with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Self-starter with a desire to learn and understand more about the business environment
