Job description: Software Engineer for Process Platforms

Tasks

• Develop internal applications and/or configure commercial solutions (e.g., Atlassian Jira) to meet business needs and improve operational efficiency.
• Taking responsibility for new projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, and architecture to ensure scalable and robust results.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, practices, and standards.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for software features, processes, and workflows to ensure clarity and accessibility for all stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field, or completed training as a software engineer.
• Solid experience with Java/Kotlin and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, the ability to master complex challenges and deliver effective results.
• Knowledge of Atlassian tools, particularly in the configuration and operation of Jira, and/or willingness to develop such skills.
• Growth mindset: Eager to learn, take responsibility, and continuously develop.
• Good communication skills in English (mandatory) and German (highly desirable).
