Job description

We are looking for a software engineer to lead the development of complex trading systems. Our software platform is based on C++/AIX, but experience with this technology is not required if you have a strong technical background and the ability to adapt to new languages and ecosystems.

Role Responsibilities

* Lead the end-to-end delivery of software solutions—from requirements gathering and architectural design through development, testing, and production. * Drive long-term technical innovation and implement improvements to the systems. * Promote best engineering practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and appropriate design patterns. * Work closely with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives. * Contribute to control design and provide technical leadership to colleagues and the broader organization. * Proactively identify technical debt, improve system resilience, and optimize performance. * Lead the technical response and root cause analysis for all production issues. * Contribute to the evolution of our engineering culture and platform strategy.

Requirements

* 2–5 years of professional experience in software development. * Demonstrated ability to implement architectural designs, solutions, and distributed systems. * Ability to align the delivery of business value with long-term technical strategy. * Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence others and foster consensus. * Strong affinity for collaborative environments and continuous improvement.

Further requirements

* Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure or AWS) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

We offer

* A comprehensive benefits package, including competitive vacation time, pension/MPF, long-term disability coverage, group health insurance, enhanced parental leave, and long-service benefits. * Flexible work arrangements. * Opportunities to make a difference through our charitable and global initiatives while advancing your career through professional development. * A culture of opportunity where your unique perspective can make a tangible difference.
