Software engineer with a focus on data science or data engineering (80%–100%) wanted.

Your contribution

- Advising and supporting data science specialists in challenging specialist projects involving data analysis and data transformation. In particular, providing support with technical and methodological issues. - Expanding, optimizing, and operating tools and systems for end-user development, especially the environment for data analysis dashboards. - Identifying and assessing the need to improve tools and systems for end-user development. Managing development projects.

Your knowledge and experience

• University degree in computer science (master's) with a specialization in data science or data engineering;
• Very good knowledge and experience in data science or data engineering. Experience with platform architectures for data science environments; experience in setting up and operating at least one environment or knowledge of relevant technologies, models, and frameworks;
• Very good knowledge and experience in software engineering; requirements analysis, solution design, development, and technical management of projects. Experience in the implementation of data-driven applications with high data volumes or machine learning.
• Ideally, knowledge of the Cloud or Posit Connect platforms as well as Angular, Java, Python, and OpenShift;
• Conceptual and systematic approach coupled with a strong focus on implementation; ability to present complex issues in a way that is understandable and tailored to the target audience;
• High level of customer focus and a strong ability and willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with challenging tasks and take on responsibility.
