Software Engineer - Secure Custody Platform
Taurus is looking for a software engineer with experience in software development to help build a digital platform for trading, investing, and securing digital assets. The position offers a hybrid work environment in Switzerland and the opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing fintech company.
Tasks
For this position, we are looking for an engineer with practical experience in software development (5–10 years of experience). You will be part of a team of highly qualified engineers working to develop the next generation of a digital platform for trading, investing in, and safeguarding digital assets. Responsibilities:- Write clean, modular, maintainable and robust code to implement the desired requirements
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that product requirements are understood
- Perform technical analysis of requirements
- Ensure high quality standards
- Take full responsibility for the product from conception to implementation, documentation, deployment, operation, and support.
Requirements
- Strong experience as a developer (Golang, Java, Rust)
- Experience with C, embedded systems, or reverse engineering
- Experience with modern software development practices (continuous delivery, continuous deployment, testing, cloud-native, etc.)
- Experience with security, cryptography, distributed systems, distributed databases, data indexing, Linux, and networking
- Experience with blockchain and DeFi ecosystems is a plus
- Experience with trading, finance and digital assets is a plus
- Experience with container runtimes (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, CRI-O) and software-defined infrastructure (Ansible, Terraform) is a plus
- Experience with Angular and TypeScript is a plus
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Sense of urgency and responsibility for the product
