Software Engineer - Secure Custody Platform
Taurus is seeking a Software Engineer with 5–10 years of experience to support a digital platform team and develop the next generation of digital platforms for trading, investing, and safeguarding digital assets. The successful candidate will join a team of highly qualified engineers in a hybrid work environment in Switzerland.
Tasks
For this position, we are looking for an engineer with practical experience in software development (5–10 years of experience). You will be part of a team of highly qualified engineers working to develop the next generation of a digital platform for trading, investing in, and protecting digital assets. Your responsibilities will include:- Writing clean, modular, maintainable, and robust code to meet the desired requirements
- Close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that product requirements are understood
- Conducting technical analyses of requirements
- Ensuring a high level of quality
- Taking full responsibility for the product from conception to implementation, documentation, deployment, operation and support
Requirements
The requirements for this position are:- Strong experience as a developer (Golang, Java, Rust)
- Experience with C, embedded systems, or reverse engineering
- Experience with modern software development practices (continuous delivery, continuous deployment, testing, cloud-native, etc.)
- Experience with security, cryptography, distributed systems, distributed databases, data indexing, Linux, and networking
- Experience with blockchain and DeFi ecosystems is an advantage
- Experience with trading, finance, and digital assets is an advantage.
- Experience with container runtimes (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, CRI-O) and software-defined infrastructure (Ansible, Terraform) is a plus
- Experience with Angular and TypeScript is an advantage
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Sense of urgency and responsibility for the product
