Zürcher Kantonalbank is looking for an experienced Software Engineer for the technical implementation of its proprietary portfolio management platform in the asset management area. The position includes the development, maintenance and implementation of regulatory requirements and standards in software solutions.

Software Engineer in Asset Management

Tasks

  • Providing and implementing regulatory requirements and standards of the financial industry in software solutions.
  • Contributions to the design and implementation of the portfolio management platform in asset management.
  • Assuming responsibility for the development and operational maintenance of the core platform services.

Requirements

  • University degree in quantitative finance, computer science, physics, statistics, mathematics or similar.
  • Experience in software development in the area of financial services, risk and compliance is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Python, Plotly Dash, C and good understanding of relational databases and queries (SQL).
  • Mastery of DevOps and operational technologies - Python, JSON, XML, GIT, AzureDevOps.
  • Reasonable knowledge of Linux, knowledge of shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of financial products and non-financial risks in asset management is a plus.
  • Self-organization, an inquisitive mindset and a good eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
