Software Engineering Delivery Manager 100% (f/m/d)
The Julius Baer Group is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Delivery Manager to lead the ServiceNow platform team and drive the development of software solutions. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a software developer and 3 years of experience in a leadership role in software development or project management.
Tasks
- Team coordination: Leading and mentoring the local software development team, promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement using Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Stakeholder engagement: Primary point of contact between technical teams and stakeholders in IT, operations, compliance, and business units; manage expectations and communicate progress transparently
- Quality and governance: Implementation of robust quality assurance processes, including testing, change control, and release management, to ensure system stability and compliance
- Risk and resource management: Proactive identification, assessment, and mitigation of supply risks; optimization of resource allocation and capacity planning to support priority changes
- Process excellence: Promoting the adoption of ITIL frameworks and best practices in incident, problem, change, and configuration management within the ServiceNow ecosystem
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience as a software developer, with practical experience on the ServiceNow platform (certification preferred)
- At least 3 years in a role as Scrum Master, Delivery Manager, or Technical Project Manager
- Proven knowledge of: ServiceNow platform (development, administration, integrations), ITIL v3/v4 practices and lifecycle stages, Agile/Scrum frameworks and DevOps principles, enterprise IT infrastructure, and service management workflows
- Strong analytical skills: Ability to analyze complex technical challenges and design scalable, sustainable solutions
- Customer-centric mindset: Deep commitment to understanding user needs and delivering exceptional service experiences
- Influencing and negotiation skills: Experience in building consensus among cross-functional partners and navigating conflicting priorities
- Excellent communication: Fluent in written and spoken English; ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
