Software Solution Engineer - E-Banking

Migro Bank is looking for a Software Solution Engineer to further develop its e-banking and web offerings. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in software engineering in the financial industry and in-depth knowledge of web applications and microservices.

Tasks

Migro Bank is looking for a Software Solution Engineer to further develop our e-banking and web offerings and to drive forward the technical development of our e-banking and website in collaboration with external partners and experts. Our responsibilities include overseeing the digital transformation of Migro Bank. With MEDIS/CORE, we are developing our own service-oriented platform in collaboration with internal teams and external partners in an agile setup. The tasks include:
  • Collaborate with other software solution engineers on policy drafts for new and existing features to develop innovative and sustainable solutions.
  • Assumption of responsibility as a systems engineer and/or application engineer for the assigned applications
  • Optimization and further development of the platform with a focus on stability, resilience, and scalability in operation
  • Searching for and processing problems in the area of e-banking and providing support in the analysis and resolution of incidents

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:
  • 4 years of software engineering in the financial industry
  • Completed degree (university/ETH, PH, HFT) in computer science, business informatics, economics
  • German (business fluent) and English (very good knowledge)
  • Extensive experience in software development for web applications and microservices, ideally on a device-agnostic basis (e.g., OpenEdge)
  • Excellent conceptual and analytical skills, as well as outstanding knowledge in the areas in which we operate
  • Several years of experience working with modern tools and technologies such as GitLab (CI/CD), Artifact, back-end development, APIs, Java, OpenEdge, ABAP, management
