Software Testing Specialist / Test Automation
Finstar AG is seeking a software testing specialist for the quality assurance of its applications, who has experience in software testing and a strong knowledge of .NET technologies and MS-SQL. The successful candidate will join the "Release and Test Management" team and will be responsible for tasks such as test automation, bug tracking, and performance testing.
Tasks
- Operating the test environment (configuring MSSQL, managing the job control system) - Identifying, prioritizing, and tracking issues in collaboration with application management, platform management, and the development team - Implementing and expanding test automation - Conducting basic performance and load tests, as well as assisting with security and database tests.Requirements
- Experience in software testing – ideally in the banking sector
- Proficiency in .NET technologies and a basic understanding of VB applications
- Experience working with MS-SQL (queries, test data management, understanding of schemas and indexes)
- Proficiency in using test case management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)
