Software Testing Specialist / Test Automation
Finstar AG is seeking a software testing specialist for the quality assurance of its applications, who has experience in software testing and knowledge of .NET technologies and MS-SQL. The successful candidate will join the "Release and Test Management" team and be responsible for tasks such as test automation, bug tracking, and performance testing.
Tasks
The tasks include:- Operation of the test environment (configuration in MSSQL, operation of the Job Control System)
- Recording, prioritizing, and tracking defects in collaboration with the application team, platform management, and the development team
- Implementation and Expansion of Test Automation
- Conducting simple performance and load tests, as well as providing support for security and database tests
Requirements
We are looking for someone who:- has experience in software testing—ideally in the banking sector
- Has a good knowledge of .NET technologies and a basic understanding of VB applications
- Has experience working with MS-SQL (queries, test data management, understanding of schemas and indexes)
- Has experience working with test case management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)
