Job Overview

An Italian Solar PV Project Delivery Manager is a professional who specializes in the construction and operation phases of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects. This role involves the assessment of risks during the development and EPC activities associated with Alantra's solar PV and BESS plants in Italy.

Main tasks

  • Aspects of the approval process;
  • Monitoring the technical development progress based on the agreed milestone plan and preparing regular progress reports.
  • Monitoring and optimization of technical layouts (mechanical and electrical) for large-scale photovoltaic (PV) power plants.
  • Supporting the entire project development process by preparing technical documentation during the approval process and ensuring readiness for construction.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field (a Master's degree in Renewable Energy is an advantage), OR at least 5 years of verifiable technical experience in the design and construction of solar power plants and/or connection systems (electrical lines and substations).
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in the energy sector.
  • Solid understanding of renewable energy, with a particular focus on solar PV.
  • Knowledge of technical specifications and regulations for MV/HV grid connections in Italy.
  • Autonomous operation and reporting to the EPC Director.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Italy. The position is based in Alantra's offices in Milan (Italy).
  • Fluency in Italian and English is required, good knowledge of Spanish is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and demonstrate a hands-on approach.
  • Adaptability, effective communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills and a pronounced focus on detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven teamwork and cooperation skills.
