Job title:

Solution Architect (h/f/x) - 80-100%

Location:

Lausanne, Switzerland

Tasks:

• Cooperation with representatives of specialist departments and technology for the evaluation and selection of solutions or technologies
• Design and lead the implementation of an application architecture, technology architecture and data integration architecture at the scale of a group of applications or specific business technologies according to the business strategy
• Provision of architectural guidelines for project teams
• Offer consulting support to technical architects and infrastructure experts to ensure that the implementation of solutions is in line with the overall architecture of the organization
• Understanding, defending and strengthening the principles of information technology strategies
• Analysis of the IT environment (management, development and transformation of the company) to identify critical failures and recommend improvement solutions
• Providing practical experience and contributing to the maintenance of the architecture reference framework (standards, best practices, catalogs, etc.)

Requirements:

• Higher education in computer science (type HES, Bachelor/Master, EPFL)
• 10 years or more experience in IT, including at least 5 years as a technical architect/solution architect
• Experience with large-scale transformation projects
• In-depth knowledge of the integration of data between applications
• Experience with cloud (Microsoft Azure and SaaS solutions) and the design and implementation of APIs
• Knowledge in the front-end area (Microfront, React, Angular)
• Experience with ERP systems (ideally Guidewire) and CRM systems (ideally MS Dynamics)
• Experience in managing an organization's architecture reference framework, ideally with a product (Sparx, IRIS, Leanx, Bizdesign, etc.)

Competencies:

• Excellent analytical, planning and organizational skills
• Ability to understand short and long-term perspectives of architectures
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
