**Solutions Architect**

Taurus is seeking a Solutions Architect for its Istanbul, Turkey office who will serve as part of the global Solutions Engineering team, acting as a bridge between the engineering teams and the customer's technical teams, delivering creative solutions for implementations and services. The Solutions Architect will be responsible for planning, installing, and integrating Taurus solutions, as well as managing customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Tasks

  • Act as a technical solutions architect as part of the global solutions engineering team and serve as a bridge between the engineering teams and the customer's technical teams (e.g., IT, system administration, database, engineering, DevOps).
  • Working closely with customers and partners to find creative solutions, deliver successful implementations, and provide resilient, high-quality services.
  • Define requirements, brainstorm solutions, develop roadmaps, improve system architecture, and design features with teams across the customer's organization, from IT and business partners to non-technical end users.
  • Be responsible for the following activities:
    • Deliver a wide range of technology services to customers, including all aspects of the product lifecycle, including technical deployments, configurations, knowledge transfer, software updates, maintenance, and deprecation.
    • Manage the planning, installation, and integration of Taurus solutions in physical, virtual, or hybrid IT environments
    • Deliver advanced professional services (product customization and integration, including upgrades, troubleshooting, etc.) in customer environments.
    • Maintain and support customer relationships, including increasing adoption, ensuring retention, and satisfaction
    • Build trusting relationships with each customer as a strategic advisor and support the enduring value of our products and services.
    • Working with customers to continuously improve Taurus's offering and learn about customer needs and requirements
    • Communicate customer needs/problems to partners and customers via Taurus
    • Ensuring knowledge transfer to partners and customers on all aspects of Taurus products
    • Work closely with members of the engineering team to quickly resolve customer issues and continuously promote customer satisfaction after the sale.
    • Organize and improve technical and user documentation for customers

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in the technical integration of products (with APIs, Subtiergate deployments, network issues, etc.) in complex environments and organizations—financial services a plus
  • Experience as a technical solutions architect, solutions engineer/pre-sales engineer, technical account manager, or equivalent experience in increasing customer satisfaction, adoption, and retention
  • Experience with corporate IT environments and frameworks such as virtualization, VDI, backup, and application management
  • Experience in various DevOps build and test processes, release management, product lifecycle management
  • Strong knowledge of modern DevOps tools (Linux, Kubernetes, Openshift, Ansible, Terraform, Python, YAML, Shell)
  • Ability to deploy both simple and complex solutions and integrate them into existing production environments
  • Knowledge/experience in database management (SQL) and software development, preferably in GO, Java, or Python
  • Flawless written and oral communication skills
  • Ready to learn, highly focused on the goal, results-oriented
  • Willing to travel regularly to visit customers
