Solutions Architect
Taurus is seeking a Solutions Architect for its office in Istanbul, Turkey, to serve as a bridge between the engineering teams and clients and develop creative solutions for the implementation of digital asset infrastructures. The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of experience integrating products into complex environments and possesses strong communication skills as well as experience with modern DevOps tools.
Tasks
Taurus is looking for a Technical Solutions Architect for our office in Istanbul, Turkey. As a hands-on technical architect on the global Solutions Engineering team, you will serve as the bridge between our engineering teams and our clients’ technical teams (e.g., IT, system administration, database, engineering, DevOps). You will work closely with clients and partners to develop creative solutions, successfully deliver implementations, and provide resilient, high-quality services. You will be responsible for the following activities:- We provide a wide range of technology services to our customers. Service requirements vary by customer and cover all aspects of the product lifecycle, including hands-on technical deployments, configurations, knowledge transfer, software updates, maintenance, and decommissioning.
- Overseeing the planning, installation, and integration of Taurus solutions in physical, virtual, or hybrid IT environments.
- Provision of advanced (hands-on) technical professional services (product customization and integration, including upgrades, troubleshooting, etc.) in customer environments.
- Maintaining and supporting overall customer relationships; this includes increasing customer acceptance, ensuring customer retention, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Building trusting relationships with every client as a strategic advisor and supporting the enduring value of our products and services.
- Working with customers to continuously improve Taurus' offerings and gain an understanding of their needs and requirements.
- Advocating for customer needs and issues within Taurus.
- Ensuring the transfer of knowledge regarding all aspects of Taurus products to partners and customers.
- Work closely with members of the engineering team to quickly resolve customer issues and continuously improve post-sale customer satisfaction.
- Organizing and improving technical and user documentation for customers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on technical experience integrating products (using/debugging APIs, subnet deployments, network issues, etc.) in complex environments and organizations—experience in financial services is a plus.
- Demonstrable experience as a Technical Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer/Pre-Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager, or in an equivalent role; a track record of increasing customer satisfaction, adoption, and retention.
- Proven experience with enterprise IT environments and frameworks such as virtualization, VDI, backup, and application management.
- Proven experience in various DevOps build and test processes, release management, and product lifecycle management.
- Strong expertise in modern DevOps tools (Linux, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Python, YAML, Shell).
- Ability to deploy both simple and complex solutions and integrate them into existing production environments.
- Knowledge/experience in database administration (SQL) and software development, preferably in Go, Java, or Python.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn, highly focused on the goal, team-oriented.
- Willingness to travel regularly to visit clients.
