Sourcing Category Manager - IT (Software, Hardware, and Networks)

Job description

The position of Sourcing Category Manager - IT (Software, Hardware, and Networks) is an important part of the Group Sourcing team. The role involves developing and implementing procurement strategies for the relevant expenditure categories.

Tasks

The main responsibilities of this position include:

• Supporting the Global Sourcing Category Lead – Hardware & Networks in developing the overall expenditure category strategy
• Support for software and cloud activities, including cyber/information security
• Managing external providers to achieve added value and governance initiatives
• Effective management and implementation of new deals and contract renewals
• Provision of commercial consulting services for key stakeholders
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and suppliers

Requirements

The requirements for this position are:

• Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent
• CIPS or other professional procurement/purchasing qualifications are desirable
• Several years of experience in procurement for the relevant expenditure categories at a renowned company
• Proven ability to successfully manage commercial and contractual activities
