Specialist in Systems and Telecommunications

Job description

The position is responsible for designing and implementing solutions in the field of systems and telecommunications. The Systems and Telecommunications Specialist will be part of the IT team and will work closely with the company's stakeholders.

Tasks

The main tasks include:

• Monitoring and verifying the security configurations of systems, clients, and networks to ensure high standards of security and reliability
• Preparation and updating of technical documentation and tracking of issues
• Providing technical support to the company's IT team and users within one's areas of expertise
• Assistance with the implementation of new hardware and software solutions, including support for training and informing the users involved
• Management and updating of the IT resource inventory
• Implementation of procedures for managing user access, authorizations, and activity tracking
• Providing technical support for issues that cannot be resolved at the first level and require first-level support
• Managing operational relationships with users and technical partners, including monitoring ticket requests and reports

Requirements

The required knowledge and skills include:

• University education in engineering or computer science disciplines
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a system administrator, preferably in the financial sector, particularly with VMware, Proxmox, and/or experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy (GPO)
• Solid experience with Windows and a good understanding of network and security infrastructures in containerized environments (OpenShift, Kubernetes)
• Experience with information system security, including firewalls, switches, and routers
• Ability to solve complex technical problems and ensure high standards of system reliability, security, and integrity, including addressing threats, vulnerabilities, and security policies
• Proficiency in spoken and written Italian
• Organizational skills and autonomy at work
