Job description

We are looking for a systems and telecommunications specialist to join our I&CT - Digital Infrastructure team at our headquarters in Lugano. The position involves a wide range of activities, characterized by constant interaction with internal users and close collaboration with the IT team and company stakeholders. The role encompasses the management, monitoring, and optimization of the IT infrastructure, the planning and implementation of technical solutions, and specialized support for operational activities, thereby actively promoting the evolution and security of the company's IT systems.

Tasks and responsibilities

* Install, configure, and ensure that individual computer systems are functioning properly * Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications and network infrastructure systems * Manage, monitor, and maintain servers, operating systems, and network components to ensure the availability of the relevant software and * Monitor and check the security configurations of systems, clients, and networks to ensure compliance with company standards and policies * Create and update technical documentation and track problems that have occurred and been resolved * Provide technical support to the IT team and company users in your areas of expertise * Participate in the introduction of new hardware and software solutions into production, including assisting with training and informing the users involved * Manage and update the inventory of devices and IT resources * Applying procedures for managing user access, permissions, and activity traceability * Ensuring technical support for issues that cannot be resolved at the first level * Participating in IT projects and collaborating with technology partners, including monitoring reports and their results * Managing operational relationships

Requirements

* University degree in technical or IT disciplines * At least 5 years of professional experience as a system administrator, preferably in financial contexts * Solid experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy (GPO) * Skills in VMWare management and administration; knowledge of Proxmox is an advantage * Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) * Knowledge and experience in containerized environments (OpenShift, Kubernetes) * Knowledge of Linux operating systems (Unix) is desirable * Ability to configure and manage computer networks, including firewalls, switches, and routers * Ability to analyze, diagnose, and solve problems
