Specialist in Systems and Telecommunications

Job description

We are looking for a Systems and Telecommunications Specialist for our IT team in Lugano Digital Infrastructure. The position is stable and diversified, with constant interaction with the company's stakeholders.

Tasks

The tasks include:

• Monitoring and optimizing the performance and stability of systems and network infrastructures
• Identifying and implementing improvement solutions, including active participation in the monitoring and security of corporate IT systems
• Monitoring and verification of security configurations for systems, clients, and networks to ensure compliance with corporate standards and policies
• Creation and updating of technical documentation and tracking of problems and corrective measures
• Providing technical support to the IT team and business users in areas of responsibility
• Collaboration in the introduction of new hardware and software solutions, including support for training and information measures for the users involved
• Management and updating of the IT resource inventory
• Application of procedures for managing user access, permissions, and activity tracking
• Provision of technical support for unresolved issues that cannot be resolved by first-level support
• Managing operational relationships with technology partners, including monitoring technical notifications and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs)

Requirements

The requirements include:

• University degree or equivalent professional experience in technical or IT disciplines
• Several years of professional experience (at least 5 years) as a system administrator, preferably in VMware environments, with knowledge of Proxmox and/or Arista
• Solid experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy (GPO), as well as containerized environments (OpenShift, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of IT systems and networks, including firewalls, switches, and routers
• Experience with databases and/or operating systems and solving complex technical problems to ensure high standards of reliability, security, and integrity of systems and networks
