DEVOps Specialist

Job description

Tasks

• Maintain the performance and stability of production applications on a daily basis (on-call duty), along with the associated documentation and procedures
• Conduct technology monitoring in one's area of expertise

Requirements

• Excellent proficiency in operating applications on OpenShift (or Kubernetes) and Linux (or AIX)
• Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Ansible, Terraform, Vault, etc.)
• Familiarity with source control management tools (Git) and continuous integration tools (GitLab CI, etc.)
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Podman) and Kubernetes container platforms (OpenShift administration—a plus)
• Technical proficiency with Nginx and Tomcat web/application servers (IBM WebSphere is a plus)
• Mastering security challenges and securing the development cycle (DevSECOPS) – a significant advantage
• Proficiency in IBM middleware tools (MQ Series, FTE, ConnectDirect, BPM, etc.) – a plus

Your profile

• Advanced degree in computer science (Master’s or equivalent)
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong interest in the automation of IT processes and operations (GitOps, Infrastructure as Code), continuous improvement, and security
• Strong analytical and structuring skills, solutions orientation, sense of service and team spirit
• Fluency in French, good knowledge of English
• Swiss resident or willingness to take up residence in Switzerland in order to participate in on-call duty
