Custodian Bank Compliance Specialist
The BCV is seeking a banking supervision specialist to monitor the compliance of investment decisions and the calculation of net asset values. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience in finance, a good understanding of financial instruments and processes, and strong analytical and teamwork skills.
Tasks
- Verify the calculation of the net asset value (NAV) and the prices of units in mutual funds
- Verify that investment decisions and investment management practices comply with the law and investment regulations
- Conduct the inspections required by the fund monitoring program
- Identify, analyze, and monitor high-risk situations until they are resolved
- Ensure regular reporting to internal and external auditors as well as governance bodies
- Advise fund managers and stakeholders on regulatory, operational, and compliance issues
Requirements
- Higher education and/or college education
- 2 to 5 years of experience in finance or risk management
- Good knowledge and understanding of market operations (financial instruments, operational processes, tools)
- Technical knowledge of calculating the net asset value (NAV) and the prices of units in investment funds
- Expertise in sustainability measurement and ESG reporting
- Strong team spirit, excellent learning and analytical skills
- Excellent command of French, good knowledge of English or German
