Treasury & Foreign Exchange Specialist, 80-100% in Sion. Tasks

In concrete terms:

• You will carefully monitor treasury cash flows and manage our BCVS’s liquidity, interest rates, investments, etc., using your expertise in trading platforms and tools.
• As a skilled negotiator, you will secure the best foreign exchange, metals, and derivatives trades for our clients and the bank.
• They are monitoring developments in the financial markets.
• You also serve as an in-house expert on projects related to treasury and foreign exchange.
• Its versatility allows you to handle accounting and fiduciary operations, controlling, and the management of the banking network, as well as to manage post-trade activities.
• Finally, you clearly define the limits of your actions in strict compliance with the guidelines and regulations.

Requirements

This position is right for you if:

• You have a higher-level business degree (HES, Swiss federal diploma in business, or equivalent), have completed additional training (AZEK or CIA level), hold a REPO SIX license, and have extensive experience in the markets.
• At the same time, you should be proficient in trading platforms for financial products, information systems (Reuters, Bloomberg), and have a certain level of agility with IT tools (Finova, VBA, Excel expertise; experience with Maîtrance is a plus).
• You are a lively and curious person who is perfectly at home in the financial industry and can identify upcoming trends.
• You are able to demonstrate your communication and negotiation skills in French, German, and English.
• Finally, your strong analytical skills round out your qualifications.
