Credit Recovery Specialist
Banque Cantonale de Fribourg is seeking a Credit Recovery Specialist who will be responsible for managing non-performing loans and negotiating solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in the banking sector, in-depth knowledge of credit analysis and financial analysis, as well as excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.

The Credit Recovery Specialist is responsible for managing non-performing loans, minimizing the bank’s financial losses, and negotiating solutions in accordance with the established strategy (e.g., rehabilitation, restructuring, liquidation, or divestiture).Tasks
The tasks include:- Management, Restructuring, and Recoupment of High-Risk Loans
- Protection of the Bank's financial and contractual interests
- Negotiating reorganization, restructuring, liquidation, or exit scenarios with all parties involved
- Periodic assessment of general and specific allowances for credit risk at the portfolio level
- Developing appropriate reporting based on specific key performance indicators and presenting this information in regular reports to the Credit Risk Management team and the Credit Committee
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of monitoring and risk management processes in the credit division
Requirements
The requirements are:- Basic training in banking, supplemented by advanced training in banking or finance, with several years of professional experience in credit recovery
- Extensive knowledge of credit analysis, financial analysis, and debt collection
- A structured and cross-functional mindset, as well as a high degree of intellectual precision
- A solution- and results-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Fluency in German and a good command of French (or vice versa)
