Banque Cantonale de Fribourg is seeking a Credit Recovery Specialist in Fribourg to manage and restructure high-risk loans. The position involves negotiating restructuring solutions, minimizing financial losses, and contributing to risk management processes.

About this position

  • The Credit Recovery Specialist is responsible for managing non-performing loans, minimizing the bank’s financial losses, and negotiating solutions in accordance with the established strategy (e.g., rehabilitation, restructuring, liquidation, or divestiture).

What can you expect?

  • Management, Restructuring, and Repayment of High-Risk Loans
  • Safeguarding the Bank's financial and strategic interests
  • Negotiating rehabilitation, restructuring, liquidation, or exit scenarios with all parties involved (borrowers, administrators, future lenders)
  • Preparation of an appropriate report for the Credit (Risk) Committee
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of monitoring and risk management processes in the credit division

What do you bring with you?

  • Basic training in banking, supplemented by advanced training in banking or finance, with several years of professional experience in credit recovery
  • In-depth knowledge of credit analysis and management, and the ability to quickly analyze financial reports
  • A structured and cross-functional mindset, as well as a high degree of intellectual precision
  • An independent and meticulous approach to work
  • A solution- and results-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in German and a good command of French (or vice versa)
