Sr Application Security Engineer
As a Sr Application Security Engineer at Northern Trust, you will investigate and remediate application security vulnerabilities and recommend improvements to minimize potential security risks. The job requires 7+ years of experience in Cyber Security/Application Security and knowledge of SAST, DAST and Vulnerability Management.

Tasks
- Investigating breaches and recommending improvements to close potential security gaps
- Leading teams with knowledge and execution of security tools in the software development lifecycle
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in cyber security / application security or related fields
- Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge of own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines
- Application of best practices and integration with other areas
- Awareness of competition and factors that differentiate them in the market
- Explaining difficult or sensitive information; working on consensus building
- Knowledge in:
- SAST, DAST, Vulnerability Management (required)
- Experience in working with DevOps (required)
Working conditions
- Location: Chicago, IL
- Presence in the office: 3 times per week required
- For non-residents: relocation required at own expense
Salary and benefits
- Salary range: $114,500 - $194,700 USD
