Job description

Tasks

• Implementation of information security risk management processes for new and existing Northern Trust business partners.
• Review third-party master service agreements to identify information security and related clauses.
• Work with procurement teams to formulate/renew contracts in line with Information Security team guidelines.
• Documentation and reporting to management of all results from risk management processes.
• Work with internal stakeholders and functional groups to ensure that all identified risks within each third party are assigned to a business owner and tracked for timely closure.

Requirements

• Proof of knowledge in the following areas:
  • Information security governance and risk management
  • Access control
  • Network security
  • Application security
  • Cryptography
  • Security architecture and design
  • Operational safety
  • Business continuity and disaster recovery planning
  • Law, regulations, investigations and compliance
  • Physical (environmental) safety
• Ability to interact professionally and build relationships with individuals and teams at every level at Northern Trust.
• Ability to work in a positive and collaborative environment.
• Ability to work both as an individual contributor and as part of a team.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to a highly dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
