Senior Associate - Mainframe (COBOL)

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Associate - Mainframe (COBOL) who will shape our technology and has a passion for orchestrating seamless banking processes. We are transforming the way we process in the future, but we still need to improve our systems to keep pace with regulatory and industry trends. The Senior Associate - Mainframe (COBOL) will primarily work on mainframe development, but will also perform tasks in the area of distributed technology.

Tasks and requirements

The Sr Associate- Mainframe (COBOL) should meet the following requirements:

• 6+ years of experience with COBOL and DB2
• Knowledge of MVS JCL and utilities
• Knowledge of unit testing and test automation tools is an advantage.
• Banking knowledge is an advantage
• Knowledge of distributed technologies
• Familiarity with cloud technologies

• COBOL/DB2/PL/I/MS/PL/I/CICS/Z/os Connect/IBM IDz/GitHub (mandatory)
• Junit/Oracle/DataStage/Pivotal Cloud Foundry/Salesforce/APEX (advantageous)

Nice to Have

It would be great if the Senior Associate Mainframe (COBOL) had experience with the following aspects:

• Experience with Vended applications running on Windows servers, Linux servers, or mainframes
• Understanding APIs and their practical application
• Experience with continuous integration and collaboration tools such as Azure ADO and/or Confluence
