Description
- As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, the individual will serve as an effective liaison between business stakeholders and the technology team by translating business needs into technical system concepts and specifications.
- Senior Business Analysts are responsible for optimizing, expanding, and automating documentation, tools, and process communication, as well as providing support to Product Management and business partners in managing deliverables.
- As the interface between business applications, he or she is also responsible for providing innovative solutions and services, backed by a thorough understanding of all aspects of operations within their business area.
- The candidate gathers the user's requirements, analyzes, synthesizes, and prioritizes them to identify a solution.
- Senior Business Systems Analysts should have strong problem-solving skills.
- They must be comfortable identifying the root cause and resolving the issue in a timely manner by working with vendors and the business.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Complete project assignments involving research, analysis, design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and system implementation
- Complete assignments on schedule, meeting operational and performance requirements
- Interact with business users to gather and verify business requirements from formal and informal sources.
- Conducts business requirements meetings and discussions; communicates, simplifies, and validates requirements to be used in future sessions and external interactions.
- Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to design processes that address major complex problems while taking business requirements into account
- Ask probing questions to gain a full understanding of the scope and scale of the work and to identify potential pitfalls.
- Organize review sessions with business sponsors, other stakeholders, and the IT development team
- Ensure the quality of all relevant documentation, including fit-gap analysis documents and the various work tracking documents, to plan and adjust staffing levels to meet commitments.

- Maintain banking applications in production and provide support for all issues required to resolve production issues in a timely manner
- Support the change management process by documenting changes, including the implementation of changes in the project deliverables
- Ensure that the performance and quality of products comply with established company standards, guidelines, specifications, and code requirements.
- Provide support and maintenance for back-end process structures and ensure compliance with system standards in conjunction with other systems (SILK, processes, procedures, and standards)
- Conduct testing, follow-up, and provide support for any necessary IT issues, technical solutions, and bug fixes (SILK)
- Complies with all compliance and reporting operational procedures, including the FCPA, laws, codes, and regulations, as well as best internal practices

Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Science, Computer Engineering, or another technical field required
- 10 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry, preferably in private banking
- 3+ years of experience in upgrading, implementing, or supporting third-party software packages, as well as debugging and resolving issues
- Experience in the implementation, enhancement, and coding of core banking systems that interface with a number of banking systems, such as portfolio management systems, asset management (AM), customer origination, and investment banking (IB),
